Vessel Walkthrough
Entering the salon through the double teak & glass doors from the covered aft deck, two barrel chairs flank a collapsable teak dining table to port, and wicker sofa to starboard. None of the salon furniture is built-in. AV equipment is stacked along the starboard side aft bulkhead. Built in teak cabinetry containing shelves, storage lockers, and the main electrical panel lines the port wall just aft of the pilothouse steps and across from the galley, which is located to starboard.
Step up port forward to the pilothouse, where dutch doors on each side allow access the foredeck or step down into the companionway to the staterooms. Midship, the guest stateroom is to starboard, and guest head, with enclosed shower, to port. The master stateroom is forward with the master stateroom head and enclosed shower all the way forward.
Flybridge access is via a ladder from the aft deck. Engine room access is via a hinged hatchway adjacent to the galley, or via four large hatches in the salon floor.
Headroom in the salon is 6’7″, 6’5″ in the master stateroom and pilothouse, and 6’2″ in the guest stateroom.
Accommodations
Cirila offers a master stateroom forward with a double size pullman berth to starboard and ensuite head with separate, enclosed shower. The starboard guest stateroom offers a single berth below and fold down single berth above. The guest head is to port and includes another enclosed shower. The pilothouse settee converts to a full size bed.
Salon
The salon is furnished with two barrel chairs and storage ottoman along the port wall, and opposite, a wicker sofa along the starboard wall. AV equipment is stacked along the aft bulkhead at one end of the sofa. Between the barrel chairs is a folding teak table, with a compartment holding four folding teak dining chairs. The table has two expandable wings to accommodate dining for six. At the forward end of the salon is the standard Kadey teak storage cabinetry, with the main electrical panel below. The salon sliding side windows are fitted with screens and top-down cellular blinds as are the aft doors. Salon lighting is LED via two overhead fixtures and/or two dimmable decorative wall sconces.
Galley
The U-shaped galley is forward of the salon to starboard. A Princess propane, 3-burner stove and oven is outboard with a large opening port light above, and just aft of the port light, an under cabinet Black and Decker toaster oven. A large TechniCold condensing plate refrigerator and freezer is in the forward bulkhead, providing exceptional refrigeration. The freezer holds at 5 degrees F in the Florida heat and its two cold plates can keep things cold for up to 3 days without running the compressor, very significant at anchor. Below the refrigerator are custom built recesses holding a Sharp microwave oven and Vitrifrigo 22 lb/day icemaker. A single basin stainless steel sink is in the counter facing aft. An L-shaped raised counter surrounds the outer edge of the main counter space, providing increased storage. Teak cabinetry line the space above and below.
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom has a double size berth to starboard with a custom Tempurpedic mattress. Reading lights and a ventilation fan flank the berth. Directly above is an overhead hatch with screen that opens via a hinged section of the bench seat on the foredeck. There are 3 port-lights – two to starboard, and one above the storage lockers, all with privacy film. A nightstand adjacent to the berth contains the fluxgate compass for Cirila’s autopilot. Below the berth are six storage drawers, and in the space behind, additional storage, along with a bay containing the batter, charger and relays powering the bowthruster. A cedar lined hanging locker is to port, with additional large storage bays behind the hanging space. Forward of it is more teak storage with four drawers and ample cabinet space in lockers above. There is a wall mounted Samsung TV and DVD player above.
Master Head
The master head is forward and up one step from the master stateroom. It offers a stainless sink to port, enclosed shower forward, and a VacuFlush toilet to starboard. The chain locker is accessed via teak doors in the shower stall. There is abundant built-in storage, 2 port-lights with privacy film, and LED lighting. A hatch in the sole provides access to the bowthruster.
Guest Stateroom
The starboard guest stateroom has a setee also used as a single berth, with storage drawers and cubbies below. It is flanked by a small desk along the forward bulkhead, and storage cabinet on the opposite end. An upper berth is hinged on the forward bulkhead, providing additional accommodations. Storage shelves and a hanging locker fill the aft bulkhead. There are LED reading lights, ventilation fan, and 2 port-lights with privacy film.
Guest Head
The port side guest head offers an enclosed shower with built-in bench, a ceramic sink and VacuFlush toilet. There are 2 port-lights with privacy film, LED lighting, and ample storage is provided both above and below the counter.
Laundry
The laundry is located on the port side of the companionway, just aft of the guest head and features a vented, Splendide 2100 combination washer / dryer, and storage area below.
Pilothouse
The raised pilothouse offers expansive visibility through nine large windows, a full control console forward and an instrument console overhead. One of the two A/C air handling units is located beneath the console on the port side, and the other beneath the settee. Deck access doors on each side are “Dutch” allowing the top half to be opened independent of the lower half. There is an opening center window forward, chart drawers, storage drawers and cabinet. Aft is a settee that converts into a full size berth, with two aft facing port-lights providing a view to the flybridge. The windows were all replaced in 2016, and external shade screens for all the pilothouse windows added to help keep it cool.
Flybridge / Boat Deck
The flybridge is accessed via a ladder from the cockpit. It offers an upper helm forward, with storage in the cowling underneath, a Todd helm chair, and teak faced bench seats on each side with new Sunbrella cushions. There is storage and the LP locker under the starboard bench. Gear for the Single Side Band radio fill much of the storage space under the port side seat. The helm area is shaded by a bimini, and can also be protected by a full Sunbrella cover. Just aft of the flybridge is the hinged mast with boom, containing the radar dome, audio speakers, LED spreader lights, and a remotely controlled power winch for launch and retrieval of the dinghy. The port side of the boat deck provides space for storing the dinghy, a “Tropic Tender” RIB with 15 hp Honda outboard. A large lockable dock box is centered on the boat deck and provides amble storage for gear, canvas, and other equipment All the way forward, mounted to an aluminum frame on the pilothoused roof, are two 330 watt Panasonic solar panels.
Cockpit / Aft Deck
The covered aft deck has newly recaulked teak decks, a transom door which opens to the teak swim platform, the stainless steel & teak ladder up to the flybridge. A Magma stainless steel LP BBQ grill and fish cleaning / fodd prep station are mounted on the aft rail to port. A hatch provides ready access to a large lazarette, and teak and glass wing doors port and starboard provide access to the side decks. An alarm siren and flashing light mounted adjacent to the flybridge ladder are wired to the highwater bilge pump and provide long range warning of emergency. Four stainless steel rod holders are mounted to the stainless support posts.
Forward Deck
The foredeck is entirely recored and non-skid. Ground tackle rests on a heavy teak bow sprit along with an Ideal vertical windlass with foot controls, mooring post and chain locking dogs. The foredeck is bounded by teak capped handrails and full lifelines. A forward-facing bench with cushions sits below the pilothouse windows. Beneath the bench is storage on the port side, with the master stateroom ventilation / escape hatch starboard. The sanitary pump-out is on the port side.
Side Decks
The covered side decks are newly recaulked teak. The shore power and shore water inlets are midship on the port side behind the steps. The water tank fills are mid-ships port and starboard, and the fuel fills are aft port and starboard, with overhead LED lighting above.
