For each voyage or new location along our journey, I usually take on of my favorite photographs, and work it with one of my digital editors. Different apps apply different effects. Some make a photo look like a watercolor, others like an oil painting, or a pencil drawing, or others are like cartoons. You know. You probably play with some of the same apps. What I like, is that these often make a very artistic rendering that I can then send out to print in various sizes on canvas. These things are sometimes why I want to have a house again someday – there’s just not enough wall space on the boat. Most surfaces are either windows or curved!
